How to Set the Start Mode After Replacing Your JOFEN NFC Display

After installing the JOFEN NFC display, your scooter will switch to zero-start mode (P09 = 0) by default. This means the motor can activate when you press the throttle, even while the scooter is stationary.

If you prefer kick-start (non-zero start) mode, enter the P-settings menu, find P09, and change the value from 0 (Zero-Start) to 1 (Kick-Start). In this mode, the scooter must be moving before the throttle can activate the motor. Follow the video below for step-by-step instructions.
